Biomechanical Assessment

How Does it Work?

The Zebris pressure treadmill uses 7,000 sensors that track and analyse your foot with each step that is taken. This allows us to observe your foot mechanics in depth and assess the relationship with your legs, knees, hips, and back.

What can we measure and gauge from a Zebris force-pressure treadmill assessment?

  • The force and pressure in different segments of your feet.

  • How even your weight distribution is between the left and right side.

  • The symmetry between your right and left side.

  • The efficiency of your 'Foot Roll'.

  • How effectively you use your big toe for balance and propulsion.

  • The impact of your weak/tight calves and hamstrings are affecting your walking and running.

  • Observe and locate 'Hot Spots' that can occur on each foot.

Following the Zebris analysis, your podiatrist will take you through the results and create your own personalised treatment plan.
