Advanced Pressure Analysis

If your feet or legs keep causing problems, the way you move is usually part of the reason.

Most foot and leg pain does not come from a single event. It builds up over time because of the way pressure is distributed through your foot and lower limb with every step you take. The problem is that these patterns are invisible during a standard examination. You cannot see them just by looking.

Advanced pressure analysis changes that.

Using two different systems, we can measure exactly how your foot is loading during walking, running, and normal daily activity. Zebris treadmill analysis captures how pressure moves across your foot while you walk or run on a sensor treadmill, giving us a detailed picture of your gait and how forces travel through your foot and leg. In-shoe Pedar analysis uses sensor insoles inside your own footwear to measure pressure distribution during real activity, which is particularly useful for assessing how well orthotics are working or identifying high pressure areas in people with diabetes or ulcers.

This kind of testing does not just help us diagnose the problem. It also lets us measure whether treatment is actually working, so we can adjust your plan based on real data rather than just how things feel.

Advanced pressure analysis can assist in the assessment and management of:

  • Plantar heel pain and plantar fasciitis
  • Forefoot pain and metatarsalgia
  • Running and walking related injuries
  • Achilles tendon and other tendon problems
  • Stress reactions and stress fractures
  • Recurrent foot pain during activity
  • Diabetic foot pressure risk and ulcer prevention
  • Areas of high pressure causing callus or skin breakdown
  • Footwear and orthotic assessment
